Challenges for this week (July 11-17, 2011)

I’ve decided that it’ll be more “fun” to call my goals challenges. I can be a fairly competitive person (with myself) so I think this will help more. Also, you should know that my weeks go Monday to Sunday.

Goals Challenges for this week (July 11-17, 2011): (easing back in…)

  • Bring lunch most days this week, eat at home when we don’t have to be out and keep food under control!
  • Set up crafting area including wall pockets.
  • Put away clothes.
  • Read before bed. I have no idea what book I was reading so I’ll just start one.
  • Keep this coming weekend relatively plan free

Challenges for this week (May 30-June5, 2011)

I’ve decided that it’ll be more “fun” to call my goals challenges. I can be a fairly competitive person (with myself) so I think this will help more. Also, you should know that my weeks go Monday to Sunday.

Goals Challenges for this week (May 30-June5, 2011):

  • Bring lunch all but one day
  • Do Laundry!
  • Work out schedule for this blog.  I have a new idea for “Helpful Hints”
  • Get posts that are almost ready for this blog posted! (Including a #missionsushitour post.)
  • Take and/or Edit 20 photos for this blog.
  • List clutch and other scarf on Etsy.
  • Sort through baking/cooking supplies and weed out more of what I don’t want/need.
  • Finish book I’m reading, review and choose another to read before bed.

Challenges for this week (May 23-29) Recap

GoalsChallenges for this week (May 23-29, 2011):

  • Bring lunch all but one day (Ladies Lunch!) – Nope. I went out for lunch on Thursday because I had to get paperwork to the bank. And it was delicious!
  • Take printer to get fixed (under warranty) – Yes! Hopefully I’ll have it back this week.
  • Make dinner at least 2 nights. (And not just sandwiches or cereal.) No. Sadly, but in my own defense, I was sick and it was hot so I sort of skipped dinner a lot of nights.
  • Dinner out only two nights. (After dance class with Gia and maybe sushi or pizza one night.) See above. I really only ate a salad for dinner last night and dinner at a party Sunday.
  • List clutch on Etsy. – I’m working on the copy for it…sometimes it just doesn’t come together.
  • Sort and box up movies, spices, dresser and maybe my closet for the move. Closet doesn’t get boxed, but it can be sorted and purged. Extra spices packed, dresser and I started sorting and purging the closet and dresser. Also I started to box up other kitchen supplies, but am not even close to being done with that! (I still need some of it…)
  • Finish book I’m reading and choose another to read before bed. This one was a little slow getting started, but it’s definitely picked up! Hopefully, I’ll have it done tonight.

Challenges for this week (May 16-22) Recap

Goals Challenges for this week (May 16-22, 2011):

  • Bring lunch all work week other than travel day. Eat out no more than 2x over the weekend.  Friday wasn’t a great day and I needed to get out of the office so I zipped over to Subway for half a sub. The rest of the weekend was fine. Lunch out on Saturday and coffee out on Sunday.
  • Take printer to get fixed (under warranty) No, I still haven’t done this. I HAVE to do it this week because I have stuff to print!
  • No groceries outside of fresh/frozen fruit, yogurt, milk, and a cake mix for a little friend’s birthday. And a skein of yarn for a specific Etsy project. This one to be exact. In the interest of full disclosure, I also picked up Worchestershire sauce. I put it on everything and I was out. And I picked up some lunches yesterday for the week.
  • Dinner out only one night. (After dance class with Gia!) YES!!
  • Sort books in to Keep, Maybe Keep, and Get the Hell Out of My House Donate. Donate the ones I don’t want. My book shelves look so empty. I haven’t taken the books to the Library yet, but I have some DVDs that I think will go too so that will wait a few more days.
  • Finish book I’m reading and choose another to read before bed. Still working on the one from last week. It’s not as good (yet) as the last one and it’s taking a little bit to get into it.

  • No groceries outside of fresh/frozen fruit, yogurt, milk, and a cake mix for a little friend’s birthday. And a skein of yarn for a specific Etsy project. This one to be exact
  • Dinner out only one night. (After dance class with Gia!)
  • Sort books in to Keep, Maybe Keep, and Get the Hell Out of My House Donate. Donate the ones I don’t want.
  • Finish book I’m reading and choose another to read before bed.

Challenges for this week (May 9-15) Recap

Goals Challenges for this week (May 9-15):

  • Bring lunch all week  One day was provided by work, but I didn’t go out all week!
  • Take printer to get fixed (under warranty) No, the week got away from me
  • No spend week outside of gasoline until I get to Chicago and keep it to a minimum there. Mostly. Dinner with friends meant I bought garlic bread, laundry cost about $10 plus ice cream, but other than that it was pretty good. As for Chicago, I spent more than I planned, but whatever. It was a good weekend.
  • Keep food numbers under control
  • Go through pots and pans to give away Done on Tuesday, out of the house on Wednesday.
  • Clean out fridge Done on Monday!
  • Finish book I’m reading and choose another to read before bed. Done Tuesday! Reviewed here. Now reading the next one Broken

It’s time to get back in the saddle with setting goals challenges for each week and following through with them! I’ve been sorely neglectful with this and need some more structure in my financial life and other parts too (not all are strictly financial)…

  • No spend week outside of gasoline until I get to Chicago and keep it to a minimum there.

Challenges for this week (March 7-13, 2011)

(I fell off the tracking wagon for a bit, but I’m back! I have no idea how well I did or didn’t do on the last one I did so I’m starting over.  Sigh. Life gets crazy, ya know?)

Goals Challenges for this week (March 7-13 2011):

  • Continue with Pantry Challenge I haven’t been making anything exciting – it seems that I had more in my fridge than I thought.
  • Gather and pack supplies for the donations this year to the Equinox Celestial Celebration so I can work on them in FL.
  • Figure out money for FL and move money for auto-paying bills while gone.
  • Check in early for my Southwest flight so I get a good seat!
  • Finish slate blue version and update Etsy with The Nettie Scarf.

Goals Challenges for this week (Feb 14-20, 2011):

  • Only Monday Dinner out until I get to Chicago – Yes.
  • Bring lunch every day this week. – Nope. Momma and Maggie showed up one day and Friday was a bday lunch for one of the girls. Another example of people mattering.
  • Do laundry with only cash on hand. This has been postponed until this week, but I have cash for it.
  • Finish current Etsy project, list and promote. Post and promote Nettie Scarf Sigh. No. I need another weekend/set of days just for me.
